festivals moving to cashless wristbands

So here is the big debate...cashless via mobile phone or via patron pre buying a wristband with cash pre loaded on the wristband.
Pros to both approaches... I would suggest the phone is a more user friendly option, and allows the attendee to choose how much they want to spend and where. Wristbands require hardware at each location to read the bands, mobile phone can be used at time of sale.
Both can track usage patterns, phones can respond much faster and in real time..
AS we watch both of these in use this summer, we will have more of an idea of which will emerge as the most used--bands or mobile phones
