I began as a Marketing Intern at the Gaylord Entertainment Center (now Bridgestone Arena) in Nashville, TN in 2005.

After graduation, I worked as the Marketing Assistant and then an Event Coordinator for UF's Stephen C. O'Connell Center, a 12,000 seat multipurpose arena that is home to 7 NCAA sports. [Go Gators!]

In 2008, I moved to Columbia, SC to earn a Master's degree in Sport and Entertainment Management from the University of South Carolina. For 2 years I was a Speaker & Sponsor Coordinator for the Sport, Entertainment, and Venues Tomorrow (SEVT) Conference held in Columbia, SC.

In 2009, I was fortunate to take a venue comparison tour in several cities in Australia and attend the VMA Congress in the Gold Coast.

Though my passion is arena management, during college I interned forĀ  facilities such as the 3,100 seat Township Auditorium in Columbia, SC and VenuWorks' 1,500 seat multipurpose Racine Civic Centre in Racine, WI in addition to one weekend with Las Vegas Motor Speedway for a NASCAR Sprint Cup Series weekend.

From 2010-2012, I worked full-time as the Box Office Coordinator at the Colonial Life Arena, a Global Spectrum managed university arena. Between 2012 and 2017 I worked as the Event Manager for SpiritBank Event Center in Tulsa, OK and then as the Guest Services & Security Manager at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, TX.

Throughout the last ten years I have volunteered at IAVM's Academy for Venue Safety & Security, two years at the VMS & GI at Oglebay, and the IAVM Annual Conference in Boston. I also founded and chaired the Women in Leadership Program for IAVM's VenueConnect.

Currently I am a Certified Venue Professional (CVP), serve as Chair of IAVM's Mentoring Committee, volunteer as the Georgia State Rep for Region 5 Board of Directors, and work as the Guest Services & Front of House Manager at the Infinite Energy Center in Atlanta, GA.
