Register today for the AVSS webinar, Tuesday, October 26, 2010 from 10:30 am - 12:00 pm (CDT).  This webinar will highlight OSHA’s safety regulations and your legal implications of non-compliance, maintaining a safe environment in your venue as well as educating employees on avoiding hazardous conditions.

OSHA, the United States’ watchdog over workplaces, is charging that safety is not a “high enough priority” at theme parks and entertainment venues. The charge follows the death of a trainer at SeaWorld and other stagehand fatalities. The federal regulator is calling for tougher measures, ranging from higher monetary penalties for non-compliance to proposals requiring new barrier protections at the front of performance stages. Attend this webinar and understand your venue’s responsibilities under OSHA safety regulations.

Cost:  $49 IAAM members, AVSS Students, Alliance Partners; $69 non-members. Register Here.
