Co-CEOs Brian Becker and Scott Zeiger announced that BASE Entertainment
has named Ned Collett Executive Vice President, Managing Director.
Collett, an industry veteran with over 20 years of entertainment and
venue management experience, will oversee all BASE operations and
business development in North America.
Collett possesses a
diverse media and live entertainment background with a proven track
record in managing live entertainment businesses. Collett was most
recently the Chief Executive Officer of FDR Management, LLC dba PURE
Management Group (PMG), one of the largest restaurant and nightclub
operators in Las Vegas. Under Collett’s management, PMG’s portfolio
included nine of the top nightclub and dining venues in Las Vegas, as
well as international properties and development.
Prior to
joining PMG, Collett was the Executive Vice President-Venues for Live
Nation. As EVP, Collett had full operational responsibility for Live
Nation’s North American network of arenas, amphitheatres and other
venues, and oversaw operational policies, growth initiatives, and new
venue acquisitions and development.
In 2003, Collett held
the position of Vice President/Executive Producer for Olympia
Entertainment in Detroit, Michigan where he was responsible for the Fox
Theater, Joe Louis Arena, Cobo Arena, Comerica Park, City Theater, and
Masonic Temple Theaters. Earlier in his career Collett also worked as
Regional Vice President, Sports and Entertainment at SMG/Leisure
Management International in Ft. Lauderdale, where he was responsible for
all arena operations for the NHL Florida Panthers Hockey Club, as well
as General Manager/Director for University of North Carolina Chapel
Hill.
BASE has also announced the promotion of Jennifer
DeLange to SVP, Associate Managing Director. In addition to overseeing
BASE’s marketing and sales efforts, DeLange will work with Collett in
establishing and executing strategic and operating initiatives in North
America. DeLange’s career has included significant and successful
positions marketing Broadway productions in New York and on national
tour, Broadway Series in markets nationwide, and she has been
responsible for the marketing of all BASE Las Vegas activities since the
company’s formation.
