IAVM Offers Virtual or Face-to-Face Stadiums Conference

The 2012 IAVM Stadiums Conference is happening live on May 15, featuring an all new webSITE format. The conference will be presented in a web-based format supported by local host sites. Industry professionals and students may choose to participate online-only OR visit one of the five national host sites for in-depth discussions, networking with industry colleagues and deeper dives into the current trends and challenges of the stadiums industry. 

The three web sessions highlight safety and security, LEED certification, important industry trends and the future of stadiums. Industry professionals located in the following regions are highly encouraged to participate in this unique in-person experience; Cowboys Stadium, Arlington, Texas; Georgia Dome, Atlanta, Georgia; University of Phoenix Stadium, Glendale, Arizona; Amway Center, Orlando, Florida; Reliant Stadium, Houston, Texas; Lucas Oil Stadium, Indianapolis, Indiana and Ford Field, Detroit, Michigan. In addition to beneficial networking and priceless discussions, the host site format is a great team building activity for all venue staff. 

"This new webSITE format gives industry professionals a face-to-face networking option at a hosted site and a virtual option if they are unable to attend the physical meeting. We want to take advantage of today's technology whenever possible, like the new Online Learning Center, which will allow us to continue adding online options for our membership," said Dr. Rodney Williams, Vice President of Education, IAVM. "I highly encourage anyone who can to participate at a host site or online." 

Registration is available online. Pre-registration is required as limited space is available at the host site locations.
