Woke up to a beautiful morning in San Diego...pretty sure that some of our group went for an early morning jog and enjoyed the ocean and climate...for those of you who know me, you know I enjoyed the view from my hotel room window and didn't feel bad at all about not exercising.
Convention Center Managers are a lively crowd in the early morning hours...ICCC starts at 8am...yes, 8am and boy do "we" like to talk. It's a bit overwhelming for those of us who are also involved in arenas and theatres...we prefer later starts! Morning refreshments were sponsored by Trade Show Executive and the breakfast burritos were a big hit.
Today's agenda is full -- Jan Addison and Dave Anderson along with the ICCC Committee have done a wonderful job putting together a nice mix of educational sessions and networking opportunities. After tonight's reception at the San Diego Convention Center, we will be heading to Petco Park for the San Diego Padres game against Cincinnati Reds.
Last night's reception was sponsored by Smart City and the networking was fantastic. Had the opportunity to visit with old friends and met some new ones as well. Followed that with dinner at Roy's with VenuWorks family and clients.
