The Cairns Convention Centre and all Cairns business events infrastructure are fully operational following Cyclone Yasi on Wednesday, February 2.
Ross Steele, general manager, Cairns Convention Centre said, "While our hearts go out to communities south of Cairns, our staff, their homes and the Cairns Convention Centre have been unaffected and it is business as usual."
"We appreciate the many emails, text messages and telephone calls we have received from throughout the meetings industry and would like to thank our colleagues, clients and friends for their concern," he added.
