The International Association of Venue Managers (IAVM), the Academy for Venue Safety and Security (AVSS) and the National Weather Center have teamed up to provide a unique learning experience in severe weather preparedness for public assembly venues. This two-day workshop will provide you with the tools for development of your severe preparedness plan. You will learn from experts as you work through foundational classes in weather forecasting, risk assessment, legal consideration and crowd dynamics - all set at the National Weather Center in Norman, Oklahoma.
