Webinar: OSHA and the Public Assembly Venue

When:  Oct 26, 2010 from 10:30 to 12:00 (CT)

OSHA, the United States’ watchdog over workplaces, is charging that safety is not a “high enough priority” at theme parks and entertainment venues. The federal regulator is calling for tougher measures, ranging from higher monetary penalties for non-compliance to proposals requiring new barrier protections at the front of performance stages.

Webinar highlights:

  • Maintaining a safe workplace
  • Understanding your venue’s responsibilities under OSHA safety regulations (29 CFR 1910 and 1926)
  • Knowing the legal (civil and criminal) implications of non-compliance
  • Educating employees on avoiding obvious hazardous conditions

Cost:  $49 IAAM members, AVSS Students, Alliance Partners; $69 non-members.
