My path into venue management started simple: working as an exhibitor's assistant for an industry-specific convention that pulls in over 500,000 attendees per event.
I found my passion for entertainment soon after. In 2014, I took my event planning hobby and turned it into a career. I started with nonprofit and PAC fundraisers, worked my way to educational seminars, and eventually took the reigns on tradeshows and small conventions. I worked both sides of the line as an exhibitor at shows thrown by colleagues and coordinating our own. In 2017, I got the opportunity to move into the Event Supervisor position at the Amarillo Civic Center Complex. In 2018, I promoted to Event Manager.
