Bio

I am a full-time boss, wife, and mom! I've been in the entertainment industry for 12+ years - from performing to running one of the top concert venues in Northern Indiana!

I grew up in beautiful Traverse City, Michigan. I attended DePauw University School of Music, graduating in 2008 with a Bachelor's of Music Degree in Vocal Performance. After graduation, I moved to Asheville, North Carolina and lived there for about 5 years where I worked for the Asheville Lyric Opera Company both as a Stage Manager & Performer. I also grew my solo singing career, headlining my own shows at the White Horse Black Mountain. In 2012, I got my first contract with Blue Gate Musicals to perform in their original Amish-themed musicals in Shipshewana, Indiana at the Blue Gate Music Hall. I retained and renewed that contract until December of 2017 - having originated roles in 5 brand-new musicals, and performed over 950 shows. In December 2015, I started working for Blue Gate Theatre part-time as a Box Office Associate, while still under contract with Blue Gate Musicals.

I met my husband, Kyle in 2016 who at the time also worked for Blue Gate in Group Sales, and we've been married since 2018. He is now a licensed social worker & therapist. We have 2 beautiful girls together - Vivian, 4 & Phoebe, 2, along with my step-daughters Kendall, 21 & Mia, 15.

After deciding to take a break from performing, Blue Gate Theatre promoted me to Entertainment Coordinator in 2018 - a position they actually created for me. I remained in that role until this past year, when they promoted me to Theatre Operations Manager in January 2023.

Music is not what I do, but who I am! Singing & Performing will always be in my blood, but I do love what I do now! I've learned so much from being on the opposite side, continuing my education and experience of the music & entertainment industry. It's also exciting to work for a 2nd generation family business that just keeps expanding and growing themselves. I love to feel apart of something new, to network and get to know other industry professionals. There is so much we can learn from each other. I look forward to what the future holds!
