Since 2009, the ecoPreserve Team has partnered with public, private and non-profit organizations to develop and implement plans to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, improve air quality, manage waste life-cycle, promote workplace wellness and achieve 3rd party certifications including GBAC, ISO, WELL, Fitwel, and LEED. ecoPreserve is a Certified Woman-Owned Business DBE/WBE/LDB/EDWOSB.

Today, Alexa serves on the boards of The Association of Energy Engineers, The National Institute of Building Science SmartAlliance, the University of Florida: Sustainability and the Built Environment, and The Florida Green Chamber of Commerce. Alexa is also a founding member of the Central Florida Energy Efficiency Alliance, she chaired BOMA's Green Committee and served on the boards of the US Green Building Council (USGBC) and International Facilities Management Association (IFMA). She is a Judge for Practice Green Health and Orange County's Green Schools Program.
