PAMC Highlights

WOW...fireworks here at PAMC...and we're not talking about the last two days of fantastic educational sessions.  Tonight's reception at AT&T Performing Arts Center - Winspear Opera House included glass walls that opened into the courtyard where PAMC attendees enjoyed a Fabulous Fireworks Display!

Sunday's educational sessions included sessions on communities, neighborhoods and history.  The group traveled to the Eisemann Center in Richardson by DART and enjoyed an afternoon of education and an evening of networking with some great BBQ and dancing.

Today's sessions started with an IAVM update from Chair, John Siehl and a keynote address by Bill Lively who served as President/CEO of the North Texas Super Bowl XLV Host Committee.  Bill has us all smiling when he was "glad to see y'all have seats out there".  Serve, Lead and Give ... these three leadership qualities are necessary in volunteers for board leadership.

Then we were off on the Lone Star Stampeded Scavenger Hunt!  Blue Team 4 was our team name and we rocked it.  Hoping to be declared the winner tomorrow.  It was a bit nippy on the walk from the Majestic to the West End Clue #2 to #3 and a bit surprising how many people we asked didn't know how to get to the West End or had been paid by opposing teams, not to give out directions!  It was a full afternoon of back to back sessions.  All worth watching when IAVM offers up the sessions.
