Since the origins of Foundation Friday in 1989, hundreds of thousands of dollars have been raised at the annual golf tournament for the IAAM Foundation’s work in funding professional development.   Now, as another summer conference approaches, our thoughts turn to Foundation Friday and golfing once again with friends, in the Carl F. Hammond Memorial Golf Tournament, presented by MillerCoors.  This year, at - , formerly known as the IAAM Annual Conference & Trade Show, avid golfers will experience play at the prestigious Blackhorse Golf Club in Cypress, TX.

Over the past year, you’ve heard me reference many times, the importance of networking.  Well, some of your best opportunity for networking will occur July 23rd on the golf course during Foundation Friday.  At this, our twenty first annual event, a mere $175 contribution to the IAAM Foundation, will  provide you an extraordinary outing with colleagues - complete with breakfast, lunch, and hosted beverages while benefiting the Foundation’s mission for industry advancement.

Many of you have experienced the outcome and/or have benefited incredibly, maybe unknowingly, from the money raised by the Foundation.   But, unless you have golfed at this event, you’ve not availed yourself of the 2nd experience, where a remarkable fraternity of affiliation develops.  Should this message pique your curiosity, be sure to check out the IAAM web site for more information and then make your plans to be part of a four-some on this Peter Jacobsen designed course; one of the most prestigious courses in Texas.
