IAAM China is making a quantum leap this week with featured speakers from North America and Europe. Attending the annual Venue Forum sponsored by the Bejing Olympic City Development Association, are IAAM Chairman John Siehl, CFE (Dayton, Ohio), along with colleagues Richard Andersen, CFE, (Northlands - Edmonton, Alberta), Henk Markerink (Amsterdam Arena), and Scott Williams, CFE (Salt Lake City) delivered sequential passionate messages on industry topics. The speeches were incredibly well received, impressing the forum audience of 400.
During the forum, the Chinese government gave IAAM official recognition, essentially putting the IAAM leadership at the same level as some IOC members that were present. Later, on the following day (Tuesday, Aug 10) the IAAM contingent lead a successful workshop at Peking University. They were treated like "rock stars."
Kudos to Eric Gao, IAAM China executive, who has been very instrumental in the BODA forum, opening doors that we would not normally be able to access. Please join me in offering congratulations to all involved.
