Nick Zazal is General Manager of the Walmart Arkansas Music Pavilion (Walmart AMP for short). In his role Nick oversees all day-to-day operation of the AMP venue as well as acting as a member of the Executive team for the AMP's sister venue, Walton Arts Center. Prior to his promotion to General Manager Nick served as Director of Events and Patron Services for the Walton Arts Center. A two-time graduate of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, Nick has a BFA in Stage Management(Theatre) and a MS in Recreation, Sports and Tourism. Nick relocated to Fayetteville from Urbana, IL where he had spent 9 seasons as Coordinator, then Director, of the Events Department overseeing production and logistics for a wide variety of touring productions, rental events, and student music ensembles.
In his stage management/production days, Nick spent time with the Colorado Shakespeare Festival, International Festival of Arts & Ideas (New Haven, CT), and Wildwood Opera Festival (Little Rock, AR)
Nick is currently serving as Director for Region 6 and is a member of the Amps & Fairgrounds Committee and the Strategic Leadership and Resource Committee.
Nick and his wife, Sallie, are the proud parents a 10-year old daughter (Anya) and a 6-year old son (Jack).
