Bio

Over a 40-year career, Wendy has led the effort to build a $145 Million performing arts complex with multiple venues, managed over 200 employees and the operations of a 75-year old historic theatre, and taught and directed arts education programs on the college and community level.

Since gaining her MFA in Theatre Management/Arts Administration, she has been responsible for multimillion-dollar budgets and led fundraising efforts that brought in tens of millions of dollars.
 
Wendy’s years of operational experience have allowed her to lead teams in all aspects of design, planning and operating for performing arts’ centers, amphitheaters, and multi-use venues. While working as a consultant, she was also a venue leader working in this industry. This operational experience has provided specialized knowledge of the realities of how a venue operates and what it needs to be effective in that operation. In her construction project management and contracting experience, she has overseen restorations, renovations and new construction from visioning and inception of schematic design, value engineering to completion of construction and operations of the venue.

Wendy has extensive experience in non-profit operations including legal issues in arts administration, principles, and practices in for profit and non-profit arts institutions, marketing, promotions, board relations, labor and employee relations, fundraising, and financial management.

Wendy has been a CVE since 2019.
